The Osages hunted bison on the plains, and I am sure this scene is not my imagination. After one particularly active tornado season, here in Osage County, I decided to paint a tornado chasing a hunting party, or a group of young Osage men on horseback! The excitement turns to flat out racing for their lives! Osage County, and all of the prairies oftehn have this scene take place! The unpredictable weather, the changes!
