I paint bison often. I live near the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve near Pawhuska, Oklahoma and I visit their 3000+ herd often, during all seasons, all weather, all times of day. I treat them like Van Gogh treated haystacks, the lighting, the season, the weather really brings out different colors, different views. I love how each time I visit the bison, I see different colors, animals personalities, and activities!
