The Challenge on the Prairie. Being greeted by a Bison bull is unforgettable! They are magnificent animals and one to be respected. I live near the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and I had the opportunity to visit the preserve when a Bull Bison was standing guard at the entrance. I don't actually know what he was doing, but there he stood, all 2000lbs of him, and that moment in time, inspired a painting.
