The Lady Dancers, Original painting by Joe Don Brave
The Lady Dancers depicts the Osage Ladies as they dance during the I-lon-skha, the June Dances in Osage County. All about regal elegance, poise, grace and beauty. The ladies dance in the outer circle, they sway, move gracefully around the arbor. A beautiful flash of a memory in my mind, as I have participated in the dances, my entire life.
