Apache Crown Dancers; An Original Painting by Joe Don Brave
Apache Crown Dancers, Apache dancers, would visit Hominy each fall during the Osage Day Dances, hosted by my grandmother's family, The Morrells. I remember seeing them from early memories and they have always been fascinating to me. I think this is the 4th time I have painted them. I just love the movement and colors.
20" x 20"; Acrylic on Canvas.
