June is the special month for the Osage I-lon-skha; the dances that brings Osages from around the country, together to celebrate community, family, the Nation, and heritage! I have participated for 45 years, dressing for so many sessions, to feel the energy and community under the arbor. It's more special than I can express. Here, I catch a split second under the arbor, of a young dancer, as he moves around the drum. I have no one in mind, just catch the second, the energy, the step, the flow.
