From an original painting titled Bedtime, by Joe Don Brave. A new foal is close to his mother, protected and resting for the night. Driving around Osage County, especially in the spring, so many babies arrive and are wonderful subjects for paintings! Changing the light and sky are a challenge for me, which I love.
