Osage Warrior; prints of the original by Joe Don Brave. I have spent the majority of my life, emersed in Osage Culture. I've also spent hours, reading the history books written about the Osage. I paint warriors as often as possible. The Osage were known for their fierceness, their stature/size and their war fare. This is a rare watercolor, (watercolor is a tough medium for me) of an Osage Warrior - I just used a lot of water, to push the colors around and get a certain feeling - a look, for this warrior.
