Butterflies, Study; prints of the original by Joe Don Brave.
Before I start a painting, I occasionally do a study. This is a study of butterflies, in preparation of the painting Dance of the Butterflies. Dance of the Butterflies are fancy shawl dancers, and the dance style is supposed to resemble butterflies, flittering around flowers! I love the style, the grace, the energy and the colors of the shawls as they dance around the drum!
Prints are available in 4 sizes, 24x30; 16x20; and 11x14 are Canvas Giclee prints, stretched on stretcher bars, ready for an open back frame. 8x10 is a paper print, in a mat ready for a frame with glass. No frames are included.
