I started a monochromatic series in the Fall of 2025, pulling a color out of a bag and seeing what I could do with it. This was the first in the series. An Osage Councilman, waiting for the meeting to start, thinking about the serious issues facing his people. This particular councilman hasn't completely transitioned to western clothes, he holds the traditions of his people dear, close to his heart and he makes decisions using these traditions, memories, heritage to steer his decisions.
