From an original painting titled Bull Bison, by Joe Don Brave, of a bull bison on the prairie! This bison lives on the Tallgrass Prairie, north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. One of 3000+ head on 45,000 acres of tallgrass prairie.
I live near the preserve and have the opportunity to visit during all seasons and times of day, allowing me to see so many different lighting and weather combinations. I treat the bison like Van Gogh treated haystacks. A true privilege to see these magnificent animals.
